"Corteo"  

This colt has it all, temperment, movement and athleticism.
His pedigree is full of performance warmbloods, Hanoverian, Dutch and Oldenburg.    This 18 month old colt was bred to jump.  He is a well-conformed, solid, handsome boy who definitely looks and has characteristics of his Sire, Cotopaxi.  He is very athletic and independent.

Corteo's Dam Garbo, is a very pretty, athletic, Dutch/Hanoverian cross mare, who scored high at her inspection, and shows amazing ability and scope over fences also.  Her pedigree contains well-known jumpers, such as Titan, Gonzo I, Deister and Gepard.    Garbo is a lovely, talented mare who has had one other foal,  a colt by For Paragon.   She has such a personality and zest for life. Her conformation is excellent, short coupled and well-muscled. She is very athletic and balanced, and has lovely expression & suspension in her gaits.    Her Sire: 'Titan', was a World Cup level jumper, whose offspring are showing tremendous ability for both Jumping and Dressage. Titan's Dam is by the notable stallion, "Rigoletto", who's sire is the foundation Shagya stallion "Ramzes", who is the grand-sire of the most famous Holsteiner jumper sire: "Ramiro" .   Garbo's dam: 'Good Fortune', is a young Oldenburg NA approved, (scored 102), Hanoverian/Tb mare whose pedigree goes back to Gotthard, Dietgard, (The Olympic horse 'Diester's' full sister), Northern Dancer and Grey Dawn II.

"Corteo's" Sire, Cotopaxi, is the 1997 16.2hh  Dark Bay Holsteiner Stallion
by the State Premium stallion "Carbano", out of a Lenz mare.
 Cotopaxi, (Carbano/Acolonia/Lenz),  has been proving himself in the jumper ring, previously on the west coast, and now in the East under an up and coming rider.  Cotopaxi's jumping form is exemplary, with scope and ability to spare.
