"Denver"   This superbly bred youngster, (Hanoverian/ Holsteiner bloodlines), has all of the credentials to take him to the upper levels in Performance, he is athletic, has correct conformation , good movement, and an excellent character.


 

Denver was ground driven and backed as a three year old. He has a good walk, trot and canter both directions. He has jumped tarps, ditches, small jumps and has been ridden through the Devils Dyke as well as up and down various banks and hills. He has been in training during
the summer of 2006, and is going well under saddle.  He is a very good natured, rideable horse.

Deutschmeister has sired many successful dressage horses, show hunters, show jumpers and three day eventers in his years of stallion duties. 
Deutschmeister consistently passes on his elegant body type, extravagant movement and a temperament that is wonderful to work with.  

 He is known for the ease with which his offspring can be trained.  As a result, he has sired many horses that compete successfully year after year for their amateur riders. 
Denver's dam, Sylvester Girl was shown at Preliminary section 1 jumpers in 1992 - 93 with Shelly Bowen at Spruce Meadows , Red Deer and Edmonton. Sylvester Girl has some of the best bloodlines of the Holsteiner breeding through her sire 'Silvester', best known son of the exceptional Show Jumping Selle Francais stallion 'Silbersee', and out of a mare line from Capitano. 'Silvester' dominantly transmitted his enormous jumping ability to his offspring, and has also presented dressage horses of the very highest calibre. Included in Sylvester Girl's notable family, is her half-brother "Coriolan", by Calypso II, whose offspring are multi-talented. His son Coriander , became very well known with Dressage successes up to Grand Prix level. Coriolan has produced numerous approved sons and International Competition horses.

      'Silvia', winner of the Grand Prix of New York, Madison Square Gardens, and
 also a winner at Spruce Meadows.

Sylvester Girl has also had a distinguished career as a broodmare, producing  8 foals, 1 inGermany, and 7 in Canada.  Her most recent foal, in 2004 is the stunning colt "Callisotro" by Cicero.  A full brother to Corso.  (see photos on foals of 2004 page).     

In 2003 - Nicole  Mare by Cicero.  She is offered For Sale as a Sport Horse Prospect.

In 2000 - Corso  Approved Canadian Sport Horse Stallion by Cicero.

In 1998 - Nellie  Mare by Cicero.  She has remained in the broodmare band
and has produced her first 2 foals.

1997 - Merengo  Gelding by Milano.  Sold as a performance horse to Pennsylvania.

1995 - Bailey  Mare by Deutschmeister.  She has remained in the broodmare band.

1994 - Mr. B.  Gelding by Mosquito.  Sold as a performance horse to New York.

1991 - Mosquito II  aka: Madison   Stallion by Mosquito, talented jumper.
