'Cira' is a lovely mare with lots of quality.  She has powerful, fluid movement and correct conformation.  She has a wonderful friendly nature.  This mare has the pedigree to excel as a Performance horse in the Jumper or Dressage ranks, and has already proved herself as a wonderful broodmare,
her bloodlines are incomparable.

 Faustina (Cira), is by the Hanoverian stallion "Foxhunter", who stood at Spruce Meadows in Calgary, AB, (unfortunately he passed away in Sept. 2004),  whose quality through the generations, is uncompromised for the serious breeder of jumpers. Nobility, appeal and clean conformation define this stallion by Watzman.   He showed a sound strength of character, good ridability, talented jumping and wonderful gaits.  His performance, type and pedigree produces offspring with improved jumping talent, while at the same time retaining and improving the existing quality. Foxhunter is the sire of Faralyssa, the best Canadian Bred Mare selected at the 2002 Hannoverian Mare Show.
Tested in Adelheidsdorf, Germany.  He placed 6th out of 36 in Jumping and 8th out of 36 in Dressage with an overall placing of 5th.
In Germany Foxhunter competed early in his career and was the winner of style competitions. He advanced to 'S' level competitions which are equivalent to the Open level in jumping. He was injured in Germany and did not continue to compete.
Cira is the first foal from the Han. Mare, "EMMY", who is a product from the stud farm of Dr. Karl-Otto Jacobs, Hohenhameln, Germany.  This big, black, "Escudo I" daughter passed her Mare Performance test in 2002 with the very respectable overall score of 8.0.  She was imported into Canada in late 2002.  She is a large-framed mare with excellent movement, phenominal jumping ability and a kind temperment. She is an imposing mare to look at, and demands a second look.
'Escudo I', was the winner of the 1994 stallion performance test in Adelheidsdorf and has been standing at the central Celle State Stud since 1995. In 1996 he became German vice-champion showjumper in Warendorf , and had many showjumping successes up to advanced level.
'Emmy's' dam the States Premium mare, "Cremona" is by the Celle Stallion "Carbid", a "Calypso II" son, who was himself, runner-up of his stallion performance test.  He has established a fine reputation for himself as a sire of exceptional diversity.
