 This 1999 Bay, 16.hh Gelding was started under saddle in the Spring of 2003, and has been hauled out and ridden in many different situations throughout the summer.  He is sensible and very willing, well mannered and does not have any vices.  He has been started over fences and is doing low courses.  He is an excellent Hunter prospect, with  lovely correct, long and low movement, and with his power and scope, he could also move up to the Jumper ring.

Fernando is by the Thoroughbred Stallion; “Final Pool”, out of the imported Holsteiner mare; “Calinka”, by Capitano.

Final Pool was shown solely by an anateur owner, and competed successfully in Preliminary to World Cup level jumpers from 1980 to 1985.  He has produced offspring who have won dozens of championships in Hunter Breeding, Hunter, Jumper, Dressage Breeding Divisions and Sporthorse Futurities. He is one of  only a select few Thoroughbred stallions accredited for breeding with
the NaWpn. (North American Dutch Warmblood Society)
Calinka  was purchased from the Holsteiner Spring Auction in 1988, along with her full-sister
Cocanella.  She was just started under saddle and over fences before being imported into Canada, where she was primarily used as a broodmare.  In 1990 she was bred to the Holsteiner stallion
Mosquito, and produced the Canadian Sporthorse Approved Stallion  "Milano".
