Littorio is a fully licenced and performance tested Holsteiner stallion.

Littorio has outstanding suspension and gaits and is known for passing on beautiful heads. His sire, Lord, is one of the most influential sires in the history of the Holstein and Littorio is one of his last remaining sons. He has great depth of bloodlines and is approved for Holsteiner, Oldenburg and Belgian Warmblood.

Littorio has produced Belgium's 2001 National Grand Champion filly foal, and also sired two finalists for the national freejumping championships at Melchen. These two finalists were selected out of 110 two-year-olds. He also has two qualifiers for the Bundeschampionart 2003 and a finalist for the young horse world championships, in Monteray, Mexico.

Littorio

Luigi is the out of the young Holsteiner/Hanoverian cross mare Nikita, (Cicero/Deutchmeister/Diamont), herself an extremely good mover, and of exceptional character and type. Luigi has inherited these characteristics from his Dam, and with the combination of the refining blood from Littorio, he is truly a model for the modern Performance Sporthorse.   Nikita's Dam line is notable.

Her Grand-dam, Sylvester Girl was shown at Preliminary section 1 jumpers in 1992 - 93 with Shelly Bowen at Spruce Meadows , Red Deer and Edmonton. Sylvester Girl has some of the best bloodlines of the Holsteiner breeding through her sire 'Silvester', best known son of the exceptional Show Jumping Selle Francais stallion 'Silbersee', and out of a mare line from Capitano. 'Silvester' dominantly transmitted his enormous jumping ability to his offspring, and has also presented dressage horses of the very highest calibre.

Included in Sylvester Girl's notable family, is her half-brother "Coriolan",  by Calypso II, whose offspring are multi-talented.
His son Coriander , became very well known with Dressage successes up to Grand Prix level.  Coriolan has produced numerous approved sons and International Competition horses.

Nikita’s sire, Cicero was Reserve Champion of his approval year in Holstein with bonits of '9' for type, '7' for topline, '7' for depth of body, '7' front legs, '7' hind legs, '7' for movement, and '8' for brilliance and impulsion. Cicero was purchased from the Holsteiner Verband in Germany and imported to the U.S. He has been bred to a variety of mares, and consistently passes to his offspring; beauty, legginess, super shoulders, gorgeous heads and absolutely flawless movement. Cisero's full-brother, Royal Cavalier is the most successful Holsteiner stallion in Ireland, and has competed to the height of 2 meter 20.

Cicero's Sire, 'Cor de la Bryere' was one of the most important foundation sires of the Holstein breed following the Second World War, who apart from his indisputable qualities as a procreator of sport horses, established flourishing stallion dynasties.
