(Faline)
This 2003 Dark Bay Filly is
beautiful. She has the sweetest face, with huge doe-like
Eyes, (hence her name: Faline). She is long legged and well put
together.
She will mature into a very tall mare.
Faline is in full training as of April 1st, 2008 and will be
available for viewing.
She is bold and
careful over the jumps, and is quite
scopey.
This mare has a mind for an amateur, she does not get marish or
flustered when introduced to new situations,
she was introduced to an indoor arena and indoor life,
which she seems to like.
Faline went to her first
Horse Show in June 2007. She was
quiet and well behaved,
and was quite happy to be in a different place.
Her first over fences classes were very good, (2'9") , she was very
rideable and
jumped in good form. She placed well in both classes.

Faline's Sire is the Hanoverian stallion "Royal Senna". He won first place at the 2000 stallion inspections for the Canadian Warmblood Horse Breeders Association (CWHBA) and shortly thereafter it was the Canadian Sport Horse Association (CSHA). The criteria were met through competition points for CSHA and then passing the stallion performance test for the CWHBA. Not surprising considering he comes from the most successful dressage bloodlines in the world today. In fact his sire, Rubinstein I, was named stallion of the century. The dam has an equally impressive background as a direct descendant of Argentan. Both bloodlines have produced a great number of world-class performance horses well known around the world. To name just a few, Rembrandt, world cup champion and Olympic gold medallist, Ahleric, Dr. Reiner Klimke's famous mount that also won world cup champion and Olympic gold medallist, Argentan, producing over 100 state premium mares, of which 2 of them were Germany's national champion mares and European champion mare Arielle and we must not forget Mario Des Laurier's famous mount Aramis, winner of the 1984 world cup and Olympic silver medallist.
Faline's Dam is the Oldenburg approved, Thoroughbred mare "Blend O'Dawn" She has excellent conformation, good movement, and a reliable character. Her pedigree has the renowned Sires: 'Northern Dancer', 'Princequillo', 'Grey Dawn II' and 'Key To The Kingdom'. She has produced 2 other Warmblood foals of excellent quality for us, 1 by 'Lynx', and 1 by 'Bajazzo', who will be just starting his Dressage career this year. Her gelding son by the stallion Cicero, was sold through the CWHBA 2003 Auction.
