SATURN'S MOON   ('Moonie")

This 16hh, 2000 Bay Canadian Warmblood mare was started under saddle in April 2004 and continued in-training with a Professional since then..  She is jumping courses and has auto changes.  She is willing and forward moving. Her first introduction to a cross-country course was met with enthusiasm and willingness, she did not hesitate to anything, even the water jumps.   She has a wonderful temperment, and likes to be around humans. She is a compact and solid horse, with a deep heartgirth, good bone, and good-sized feet. Her gaits are balanced and rythmical with auto changes coming naturally and without effort.

She has good freedom in her shoulders, and lots of suspension.  Her walk is outstanding, it is ground-covering with lots of push from behind.  Her free-jumping was met without hesitation, she shows that she wants to be careful and she jumps with good technique.  She jumps with effeciency and scope, as the jumps get higher and bigger, she jumps it in the same way, making it look easy, and she improves with each jumping session..    Her pedigree suggests that she was bred for the Hunter/Jumper Ring, but her lofty movement, suspension and balance would also indicate that Dressage could easily be in her future.

"Moonie's" Sire is the Dutch Stallion; 'Titan' (Lucky Boy/Miletto/Rigoletto). Titan jumped at the World Cup level, showing power, scope and rideability. His offspring have inherited these traits plus his wonderful temperment, exceptional movement, and athletic talent. "Moonie's" Dam is a CW mare by the US Trakehner Stallion; 'Hennessey', who performed to the High Prelim. ranks in jumping in the S.E. US, and was also acclaimed for his Dressage ability. "Moonie's" Grand-Dam was an Oldenburg approved Tb mare who showed as an Amateur Owner Jumper before producing numerous talented offspring for both racing and Sport.
This mare has the pedigree and temperment to excel in any discipline, and as a future broodmare, has a unique blend of bloodlines. Should mature to 16.1hh
