He has a wonderful disposition, short and strong in his loins, excellent well-proportioned
hooves, straight and correct legs and beautiful, big, floating movement.  He will improve
on any mare he breeds, due to his propotent and careful breeding from some of the
oldest dated stud books on both his dam and sire.  He will produce a foal for any discipline

This was Baron probably in about 1990

Hungarian Baron Gyemant  (Hungarian meaning: Diamond)
Like his name implies, he is a timeless treasure, flawless, and irreplaceable.
Baron possesses that special combination of type and class, smoothness and
function.  He is the one horse who fulfills a breeders dream.  Baron is a
traditional bred Hungarian Horse.  His sire, 'Hungarian Bravo',
(*Pilot ox/*52 Gazal II)   represents the
Shagya line 'Gazal', which is known for its exceptional type and beauty.
Baron's dam, 'Hungarian Kik Byemant Noi', is by "H Hadur', a stallion celebrated
for his own, as well as his offsprings athletic ability.  Kek Gyemant Noi is
considered by some to be the best daughter of 'Foka'.  Foka is from one of the most
influential mare lines, Sadie May.
*52 Gazal II was an imported Shagya mare purchaed by Countess Bessenyey at
the remount sale during World War II, and brought to her home in Montana to
found
the base of the breed in North America.
*Pilot, bred at the Polish state stud, Janow-Podlaski, was also imported.
H. Foka was bred by Steve Cocksley and had 13 foals by H. Hadur.  Bred by
Countess Bessenyey, H.Hadur has a tail female line going back to the Shagya
mare 70 Solyom I.  He also has the TB stallion "Bull Lea", *Formas 9" and
"Furioso II" in his pedigree,  all producers of very talented competitors in
many sports, Eventing, Jumping, Dressage and Endurance.

Hungarian Baron Gyemant is a registered Hungarian (Kisber Felver), as well
as Shagya.  His sire, H. Bravo, is a famous foundation stock Shagya Stallion.
He was used to improve upon not only the Shagyas but also the Hungarian horse.
His Dam, H.Ked Gyemant Noi, has the best Hungarian bloodlines alive today.  His
maternal gradsire, H. Hadur and his great grandsire, Big John, have many articals
written about their success as competitors and producers.

Baron is very unique in the fact that he is very important to both Hungarian and
Shagya breeding.  His breeding is very sought after.  He is the last living viable
stallion with his pedigree.
Baron is the special one, he stands alone in the breed.  Representing the best of
both sire and dam.  It is that which makes him invaluable, that which makes him
sought-after as a sire, that which makes him an Undefeated sport horse in-hand
Champion.  Baron's show career is unequalled by any other Hungarian or Shagya
stallion in North America.
Baron's offspring are of exceptionally high quality and potential.  His get possess their
Sires' compelling beauty and elegance, yet his cosistency is predominant in that ONE
ellusive of qualities - ATTITUDE.
