Cicero was purchased from the Holsteiner Verband in Germany and imported to the U.S. He has been bred to a variety of mares, and consistently passes to his offspring; beauty, legginess, super shoulders, gorgeous heads and absolutely flawless movement. Cisero's full-brother, Royal Cavalier is the most successful Holsteiner stallion in Ireland, and has competed to the height of 2 meter 20.

Cicero's Sire, 'Cor de la Bryere' was one of the most important foundation sires of the Holstein breed following the Second World War, who apart from his indisputable qualities as a procreator of sport horses, established flourishing stallion dynasties.  Ligustra, Cicero's dam, is aldo the dam of Royal Cavallier, the most important warmblood stallion in Ireland, with winnings in CSIO up to 2.2 meters.

Corso's dam, Sylvester Girl was shown at Preliminary section 1 jumpers in 1992 - 93 with Shelly Bowen at Spruce Meadows , Red Deer and Edmonton. Sylvester Girl has some of the best bloodlines of the Holsteiner breeding through her sire 'Silvester', best known son of the exceptional Show Jumping Selle Francais stallion 'Silbersee', and out of a mare line from Capitano. 'Silvester' dominantly transmitted his enormous jumping ability to his offspring, and has also presented dressage horses of the very highest calibre. Included in Sylvester Girl's notable family, is her half-brother "Coriolan", by Calypso II, whose offspring are multi-talented. His son Coriander , became very well known with Dressage successes up to Grand Prix level. Coriolan has produced numerous approved sons and International Competition horses.
