For Paragon is an approved Hanoverian stallion and
son of the couble Olympic team champion and European team champion "For Pleasure", who jumped
from one success to the next with Lars Nieberg and Marcus Ehning.
In 1995 he became German champion and has been the German showjumper of
the year with the highest winnings a number of times. The damsire
"Pinkus" was the
winner of his stallion performance test and managed to establish
himself as a procreator of high class showjumpers. His first
covering stint of several years was in Grobenworden, where he
encountered the best of showjumping blood in the mare stock. This
period resulted in the stallions "Piment",
"Peridot" and "Premium",
the Hanoverian showjumping champion "Positano", as well as "Pincus", "Prince Optimus", "Pink As"
and "Pangraf".
The Celle state stallion "Tannenberg"
by "Trapper",
in the third generation was decorated as the "best stallion of his age
class" in his day.
The great-grandam "Ascona" (Argentan
I/Seefischer) was the champion DLG mare of 1980 and is a full-sister of
the approved stallion "Arcaro".
Behind this, there is a Hanoverian showjumper bloodline of the very
finest, based on the mare
"Jagerherz" (Jagersmann/Lorlot). This bloodline brought
forth, inter alia, the private stallions "April-Scherz", "Ferrero", "Gold Dollar", "Gragenit", "Prinz
Parly", "Lucius", "Noble Boy", "Vagabund", "Van Gogh", "Vassall",
"Volltreffer" and "Van Dyke" . This bloodline furthermore
produced the state stallions "Dagobert",
"Don Vino", "Servus", "Weinstock", "Westgote" , "Wismar", "Marcolino",
"Rheingau", as well as the successful international showjumpers
"G-line" (Gotthard/Eira
on Einhard), and "Werra 24" (Werther/Eira
von Einhard).
For Paragon is a very
attractive, modern type and has already produced many excellent
offspring that are particularly well suited for the hunter ring.
For Paragon passes on to his babies his excellent
gaits and jumping ability along with a good temperament and very
correct conformation.
