was imported from Germany into the U. S. in 1995. He is an Elite
Stallion. Gonzo
was the United State's
most popular Hanoverian breeding stallion for several years
in a
row before his untimely death in late 2000. Gonzo’s all hanoverian
pedigree combines less
prominent strains of the most
influential Hanoverian bloodlines: The G-and W-line on the sires
side (through Gotthard and
SPS Feretria by Florentiner) and the D-line through Diskant (whose son Deister still is
unforgotten through his multiple worldwide success in
jumping. Gonzo's Dam is the full- sister to the legendary
Deister, German Olympic Team

sire, Gepard, has

is also present in the
pedigree of Sandro
Hit,
winner of
young dressage horse world-championships in 2000.

chestnut, who has a striking personality
and is trained to Grand Prix Dressage and Jumping, (now
deceased), stood
in Germany and was highly respected for
producing excellent temperment, type and talent, and valued for his
kind attitude and trainability. He was Stallion performance
tested in 1988 at Medingen, 29th out of 73 stallions. His show
record includes Dressage and Jumping up to S-level.
Golden Deister
Gonzo I proved his
heritage with successes in Open & Puissance jumping
under Franke
Sloothaak, and was also competetive through Fourth Level
Dressage.
He produces size,
bone, calm minds, and athleticism, his offspring are much sought after
by Amateurs and
Professionals in both disciplines.
